Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) works to protect and promote the privacy rights of Canadians. The OPC oversees compliance with the Privacy Act, which covers the personal information-handling practices of federal government departments and agencies, and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada’s federal private-sector privacy law. As part of its public outreach work, the OPC has created a number of educational tools aimed at helping teachers get the privacy message across to young Canadians. These free resources include lesson plans, presentation packages, activity sheets, videos, a graphic novel and more! Learn more at youthprivacy.ca
